The Hennessee Group's Manager Survey is one of the oldest and most comprehensive sources of information on hedge fund managers. The survey was conducted annually from 1995 through 2007 and includes year-over-year comparisons where appropriate.

The purpose of the survey is to ascertain hedge fund managers’ capital structure, portfolio management, and perspectives on trends with respect to transparency and industry regulation. The research also covers hedge fund manager views on prime broker services, service providers, and back office issues.
